Ingredients:

  • Ready-made briouat pastry sheets
  • Chicken breasts (2 breasts)
  • Onion (1 piece)
  • Carrot (1 piece)
  • Chopped parsley
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Cumin
  • Mixed spices

Preparation Method:

  1. Preparing the Filling:
  • Cut chicken into small cubes
  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, cumin, and mixed spices
  • Finely chop onion and carrot
  1. Cooking the Filling:
  • Heat olive oil in a pan
  • Sauté onion and carrot until golden
  • Add seasoned chicken
  • Cook until chicken is fully done
  • Sprinkle chopped parsley
  • Let mixture cool slightly
  1. Shaping the Briouat:
  • Spread briouat pastry sheets
  • Place a spoonful of filling at the edge
  • Roll pastry into a tight triangle
  • Ensure edges are sealed completely

  • Heat abundant oil
  • Fry briouat until golden and crispy
  • Remove onto oil-absorbing paper
  1. Serving:
  • Serve hot with garlic sauce
  • Garnish with parsley leaves
  • Can be served as a light meal or appetizer
